I'm Fiona Colliver, a Fractional HR Director who works with growing, people-conscious businesses. I partner with founders and leadership teams to bring clarity to people decisions, strengthen leadership and make sure the organisation is equipped for its next stage.
Before establishing Colliver Consulting, I built my HR career in-house, including roles with JLT Group, Investment Technology Group and Mercer. My experience spans complex employee relations, restructuring and redundancy, organisational change, TUPE, acquisitions, learning and development, culture and engagement.
Since moving into consulting, I have worked across a broad range of sectors and business models. That combination of corporate depth and growing-business pragmatism means I can bring robust judgement without importing unnecessary bureaucracy.
I believe good HR should help a business perform—not slow it down. I build trusted relationships, ask direct questions and give leaders clear, considered advice. I am comfortable moving between the strategic and the practical: contributing at leadership level while making sure decisions are implemented properly.
The strongest partnerships are with leaders who care about how people experience work, are prepared to address difficult issues and want HR to contribute meaningfully to the success of the business.
I live near Bath with my husband, two daughters and our fox-red Labrador. When I’m not working, I’m usually walking the dog or ferrying children somewhere.
